Antiviral Face Masks

While the evidence is not certain, it is better to be safe than sorry. The general public should wear antiviral cloth face masks made in Vietnam where there is widespread transmission and when physical distancing is difficult, such as on public transport, in shops or in other confined or crowded places.

WHO has released new guidance on antiviral cloth face masks made in Vietnam, recommending that the antiviral cloth face masks consist of at least three layers of different materials:

An outer layer, which is a non-absorbent material such as a polyester or a polyester blend,

A middle layer of non-woven materials such as polypropylene (for the filter) and

An inner layer being an absorbent material like cotton

Based on the new WHO guidance on antiviral cloth face masks made in Vietnam, we designed our Antiviral Cloth Face Mask in Vietnam with the following specifications:

Cloth Face Coverings

How can you prevent your glasses from fogging up while wearing cloth face coverings? Is there a mask with a lens breath guard? As a cloth face covering manufacturer in Vietnam, we’ve thought about this, and the answer is yes. A nose pin can help stop your glasses from fogging up. Nose pins, also known as nose clips, nose wires for surgical masks, or mask nose wires, help keep the mask secure on your nose and cheeks (otherwise, it may slip off your mouth). Most nose pins are made of plastic, which doesn’t effectively prevent glasses from fogging. Our factory in Vietnam has faced the same issue. When you wear a cloth face mask, your glasses fog up because the mask directs your breath upwards. This is great for preventing disease transmission, but not so great for those who wear glasses. However, at our factory, we use a stronger nose pin made of metal wrapped in plastic. This type of nose pin allows wearers to adjust the top of the mask for a snug fit around the nose and face, helping to reduce the chances of your glasses fogging up.
